Birmingham City forward Marvin Dachsh has been charged with drink-driving following a three-vehicle crash on Easter Monday.
Warwickshire Police were alerted to the incident on the A3400 near Henley-in-Arden, where the Blues’ first-team training ground is located, at around 10.30pm and detained Dachsh at the scene. The two-time Germany international was a substitute in the Blues’ 2-1 defeat to Ipswich Town at Portman Road. Daksh was formally charged by police on Monday, April 13th.
A statement from Warwickshire Police said: “A 32-year-old man from Solihull has been charged with drink driving following a collision near Henley-in-Arden.
“At around 10.30pm on Monday, April 6, officers attended reports of a three-vehicle crash on the A3400. Marvin Dachsh was arrested and charged with drink driving yesterday, April 13.”

“He was granted bail and will appear at Warwickshire Magistrates in Leamington on Wednesday 20th May.”
Daksch, who joined the Blues on a three-year deal from Werder Bremen last summer, was left out of the squad that beat Wrexham 2-0 on Sunday.
A statement from the club released on Tuesday said: “The club can confirm that Marvin Dachsh has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
“Marvin would like to apologize to his team-mates, staff and supporters at the club and accepts full responsibility for his actions. This matter is being dealt with internally and no further comment will be made at this time.”
