Outgoing Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola has been praised by Manchester United, with the Red Devils also keen on two current Spanish players.
Manchester United are monitoring Bournemouth’s hot young striker Eli Junior Crupi and Marcos Senesi, who is set to leave the Cherries on a free transfer, ahead of the summer transfer window.
This will be a shocking summer for the Red Devils as they appoint their next permanent manager. Andoni Iraola is known to have many fans at Old Trafford, and the highly-rated Spanish manager has become an even more attractive option following his announcement that he will leave Bournemouth at the end of the 2025-26 season.
But while it remains to be seen whether the outgoing Cherries manager will actually be in Manchester United’s dugout next season, the Premier League giants are interested in two players who have developed under his tutelage on the south coast.
Mail Sport reports that United are keeping an eye on Crupi after the 19-year-old enjoyed an impressive debut season in English football with Bournemouth.

Chelsea and Liverpool also like the striker, who scored in both of Bournemouth’s league games against United, scoring his 10th goal of the season in Saturday’s emotional 2-1 win over Arsenal.
Senesi is also a player likely to attract Premier League suitors this summer. It remains to be seen whether Crupi, who only signed for Bournemouth in February last year, could be on the move in the coming months, but Senesi’s contract is up and he is poised to move from club to club.
The 28-year-old defender has been one of Bournemouth’s most impressive performers this term and is thought to be of interest from United, as well as Chelsea and Tottenham.
It is well documented that Manchester United are prioritizing rebuilding in that area this summer and plan to sign at least one central midfielder. With the team no longer playing with a back three and wing-backs, it is likely that left-sided attackers will also be targeted.
United are interested in Iraola, but the 43-year-old is by no means the only candidate to take charge of the club ahead of the 2026-27 season.
Michael Carrick has done a great job since coming on as interim and is a real candidate to earn a full-time role if he can lead the team to next year’s Champions League qualification.
Julian Nagelsmann and Oliver Glasner are also rumored to have been linked with the role, with the latter also set to be released this summer after his plans to leave Crystal Palace were confirmed.
