Iraola joined the Cherries from Rayo Vallecano in 2023, replacing Gary O’Neill. He then led Bournemouth to 12th place in his first season and ninth place last season, with a club-record 56 points.
Bournemouth currently sit 11th in the Premier League and are unbeaten in their last 12 league games.
Iraola’s progressive and dynamic style of football has attracted many fans, but he has also been praised for overseeing the departure of Dean Huyssen, Milos Kerkes, Ilia Zabarny, Dango Ouattara and Antoine Semenyo for a total of £253m this season.
The Basque has been linked with a return to La Liga side Athletic Bilbao, where he spent 12 years as a player and made over 400 appearances.
Premier League rivals Crystal Palace are also reportedly looking to replace Oliver Glasner, who will leave at the end of the season.
