Manchester City became the first team to secure a spot at Wembley with a 4-0 victory over Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium. Erling Haaland was outstanding, scoring a hat-trick to dash Liverpool’s cup dreams and keep City’s chase for a trophy treble intact.
Chelsea beat Port Vale 7-0 late on Saturday to book their place in the semi-finals. The Premier League giants showed no mercy against League One’s bottom side, ending Port Vale’s incredible giant-killing streak with a barrage of goals.
Southampton then defeated Premier League leaders Arsenal 2-1 at home, delivering the biggest upset of the quarter-final round. Despite being the lowest team remaining in the competition at the time of the game, Saints managed to evade Mikel Arteta’s side and dash any dreams of a potential treble.
West Ham United prepare to host Leeds United at the London Stadium this afternoon, with the final semi-final spot still in contention. Both teams have temporarily put aside their fight to remain in the Premier League and are now competing for a place in the FA Cup semi-finals for the first time in a while.
The FA Cup semi-final will be held at Wembley Stadium on the weekend of April 25th and 26th. These must-see matches will decide which two clubs will advance to the final on May 16th.
