Igor Tudor has parted ways with Tottenham Hotspur with immediate effect.
The move follows Spurs’ 3-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest, which left the club one place and one point above the Premier League relegation zone.
After the defeat, the Croatian coach did not give any post-match interviews after being informed of his father’s death.
Tudor lost five of the seven games he was in charge of during his 44-day spell, with his only win coming in the second leg when Spurs lost to Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

“We can confirm that it has been mutually agreed that head coach Igor Tudor will leave the club with immediate effect,” a club statement said.

“Tomislav Rozic and Riccardo Ragnacci have also resigned from their respective positions as goalkeeping coach and physical coach.

“We would like to thank Igor, Tomislav and Riccardo for their tireless work over the past six weeks. We also acknowledge the recent bereavement that Igor has suffered and send our support to him and his family at this difficult time.”

“Updates regarding the new head coach will be provided in due course.”

Spurs will be searching for a third manager this season after manager Thomas Frank was fired in February.

At the time of Frank’s departure, the north London club were 16th in the Premier League, five points above the relegation zone, but are now 17th, one point behind West Ham United in 18th place, with seven games in hand.

With two weeks until Spurs return to action in the Premier League against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on April 12, the focus will now be on naming Tudor’s successor.

They are on a 13-game winless streak in the Premier League and are yet to register a win in any domestic competition in 2026.

Tudor leaves the Spurs with a winning percentage of just 14.3%, the worst record of his managerial career. By comparison, the lowest win rate ever was 37.8% at PAOK in Greece.
