Liverpool will be forced to replace Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah as he prepares to leave in the summer, with former Crystal Palace star Michael Oliseh apparently emerging as an option.
Bayern Munich remain “calm” about the future of reported Liverpool target Michael Oliseh, says Max Eberl. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past, while Real Madrid have also been touted as fans.
Olise could be drafted by Liverpool to replace Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah, who is set to leave the club at the end of this season. And although Bayern manager Eber admitted there could be interest in Wideman, he remains unconvinced that he could leave.
“It doesn’t matter which club is interested in him,” Eberl told SportBILD. “Everyone who plays for FC Bayern knows what we have here. Michael has a contract with us until 2029, but there is no release clause. We are calm.”
Olise, 24, has been at Bayern since joining the club from Crystal Palace in 2024. The German side paid around £50 million for his contract, and Olise scored 36 goals and provided a further 50 assists in just 94 appearances in all competitions.

He also played in 13 games for France, scoring 4 goals. Meanwhile, current Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has also confirmed that he will be leaving Anfield at the end of this season, forcing him to make a big decision regarding his future.
Announcing his departure, Salah said: “Hello everyone. Unfortunately this day has come. This is the first part of my farewell. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of this season.”
“First of all, I would like to say that I never imagined that this club, this city, these people would be a part of my life. Liverpool, it’s more than just a football club. It’s a passion. It’s a history. It’s a spirit. Words can’t explain it to anyone who isn’t part of this club.”
“We celebrated victories, we won the most important trophies, and we fought through the most difficult times of our lives together.
“I would like to thank everyone who has been part of this club throughout my time here, especially my team-mates past and present. And to all the fans, there are not enough words. The support you showed me during the best times of my career, and the way you stood by me during the most difficult times. That is something I will never forget and something I will always carry with me.”
“Leaving is never easy. You guys have given me the time of my life. I will always be a part of you. This club will always be my home, for me and for my family. Thank you for everything. Thanks to you, I will never walk alone.”
