England officially unveil new kit for summer’s World Cup
England have unveiled their home and away kits for the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Nike’s latest kit partnership features the words ‘Happy and Glorious’ on the collar, and they will be wearing red in their newly released away kit.
The Three Lions will be looking to end 60 years of suffering when they head to North America for the tournament, which begins June 11th. After a number of leaks in recent months, England supporters now have confirmation of what they will wear in the tournament.
Jordan Pickford, wearing the traditional blue stripes with a 2026 twist, will appear alongside captain Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham in their home kit. Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson models the red away strip alongside Marcus Rashford.

The shoulder seams have navy detailing and the side inserts are red with a navy outline. The away kit, on the other hand, features a Three Lions badge in the centre. The professional-style kit worn by the Three Lions star will debut Aero-Fit technology, replacing Nike’s older Dri-Fit ADV technology.
The kit will go on sale on Monday 23rd March, but is likely to make its debut during the upcoming March international break, against Uruguay and Japan.

In 2018, the Football Association (FA) extended its partnership with Nike, keeping the American brand as England’s kit provider until 2030. The deal is valued at more than £400m and the latest kit could be one of the last kits produced by Nike for the 2028 European Championships to be held in England and the UK before the 2030 Africa World Cup.
The introduction of Aero-FIT technology is considered the pinnacle of cooling technology, allowing players to perform at their best even in extreme conditions.
The Three Lions will face Croatia, Ghana and Panama in Group L, but will have to contend with summer weather in Dallas, Boston and New York. However, due to the seeding system, they cannot face Spain or Argentina until the semi-finals, or France even if they reach the final, giving them an advantage.
It was a busy Friday at St George’s Park after manager Thomas Tuchel announced his 35-man squad for the international friendlies against Uruguay and Japan.
There was no room for Real Madrid defender Trent Alexander-Arnold, but James Garner and Jason Steele received their first call-ups and Leeds United defender Dominic Calvert-Lewin returned to the squad.
Ollie Watkins and Alex Scott were among the notable absentees left out of the expanded squad, while Chelsea duo Trevor Chalobah and Reece James were sidelined through injury.
“My overall idea is that March will be a bit of a strange season, just like June,” the German head coach said.
“It’s a very stressful and very demanding time because the players are very involved in cup semi-finals, Champions League semi-finals and at the end of the season they’re fighting to not be relegated or to stay in the national team or in Europe, fighting for championships and titles.
“Obviously we’ve done our homework and we’ve qualified, so it’s good that we have two friendlies left. Considering our style of play and our ranking, we’re facing a very strong opponent. We have demands, and this period too.”
“Then we decided to basically split it into almost two camps, so we decided to bring in players who hadn’t played much before to clarify the situation and increase the competition for tickets to the United States.
“Then from Friday or Saturday, a group of players will go into camp. We will have 10 or 11 players who will come and rest before that and then we will have a new group of players and a new composition for the game against Japan.”
