Weldstone have issued a statement following the transfer of one of their players to Bowler League side Prime FC, prompting the National League club to launch an investigation.
National League side Wealdstone have launched an investigation after one of their players appeared in the Bowlers League without permission. Stones winger Saku Hassan played for KSI’s new team Prime FC in Monday’s match.
Hassan, 24, has been a regular for Wealdstone this season, scoring three goals and providing four assists in 32 appearances. The 13-time Somali international made his last appearance on March 7, helping the Stones defeat Braintree Town 4-1 to advance to the National League play-offs.
But his most recent appearance was in the Bowler League, a televised six-a-side tournament featuring influencers and former pros. Hassan, who played for the 26ers in Season 1 of Bowler Rag, scored the opening goal and provided two assists in Prime FC’s 7-3 victory over N5 FC at London’s Copperbox Arena.
The former Hashtag United star was on the scoresheet alongside former Manchester United prospect Ryan Tunnicliffe and Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham’s younger brother Timmy. But Hassan, who left Hashtag to sign with Weedlestone last summer, now finds himself under investigation.

In a statement published in X, Wealdstone said: “We are aware that Sak Hassan, who is contracted to Wealdstone FC, played in tonight’s bowler league. The club was not approached for Sak’s permission to play and was not informed of his involvement in advance.”
“We will now follow up directly with both the Bowler League and the players. Until those discussions take place, we will have no further comment.”
The story also deepens. KSI, real name Olajide Olinka Williams Olatunji, who recently became the owner of Dagenham and Redbridge in the National League South, is accused of eavesdropping on Hassan.
Speaking to social media star Chunkz, KSI explained: “You told me about him (Hassan), so I talked to him, and I said, ‘Brother, I have big things coming.’ I didn’t mention the Duggars at this point. I was like, ‘Brother, I have big things happening.’
Mr. Chunks then interjected and asked, “Dagenham and Redbridge,” and KSI seemed to nod. The new co-owner continued, “So there you have it. And I also said, ‘Brother, think about the club.'”
KSI completed its investment in the Duggars earlier this month after the sixth-tier club was acquired by Happy Fun Group, a consortium led by US-based businessman John Grabowski. “I’m so excited to start this journey,” said KSI, who rose to fame on YouTube.
“It’s definitely going to be a roller coaster, but I’m hoping to get Dagenham and Redbridge back to their glory days and once we get there I want to go further. Reaching the Premier League is a dream and I believe it’s 100 per cent achievable.”
“It’s going to take a long time, so we ask all Daggers fans to be patient. We want you to know that we are working hard to make Dagenham and Redbridge a team that everyone knows around the world and an exciting team to watch and root for.”
