The next round of the Premier League is just around the corner, with all 20 clubs playing matches over the next few days. Liverpool will be the focus of the match against crisis-ridden club Tottenham, while Manchester United will host Aston Villa in a battle between the two clubs for Champions League qualification. However, with many teams having injury concerns ahead of the match, FPL managers have some key decisions to make ahead of Saturday’s 1.30pm (UK time) deadline.
Express Sport brings you the latest updates of the most popular players…
Daniel Muñoz
Muñoz injured his shoulder in last weekend’s game against Tottenham and did not play for Crystal Palace in the midweek draw with Larnaca.
Oliver Glasner explained that the 29-year-old is “working hard with the medical staff to prepare for Sunday afternoon’s game against Leeds”.
It remains to be seen whether Munoz is ready to return, with a late fitness test likely to determine whether he is available for this game.
harry wilson
Wilson was also forced to miss Fulham’s recent win over Tottenham with an ankle problem and is hoping to return from injury this weekend.
He also missed last weekend’s game against West Ham and the FA Cup game against Southampton, but is confident he will be able to play against Nottingham Forest.
Wilson told BBC Sport: “I’m feeling good. I picked up a bit of a bruise after the Spurs game. It took about a week before the game, but I’m back in training now so I think I’ll be fine for Sunday and definitely fit for the Wales game.”
Nordi Mukiele
One player who will definitely not feature this weekend is Mukiele, who has been ruled out of Sunderland’s next game against Brighton.
Earlier this week, manager Regis Le Bris said the match would be “too quick” for the 28-year-old defender.
However, Mukiele could return to Sunderland’s squad for next weekend’s Tyne Wear derby against Newcastle.

Crisencio Somerville
Somerville will also miss this weekend’s Premier League game after sustaining a calf injury in West Ham’s FA Cup win over Brentford.
Manager Nuno Espirito Santo said: “Somerville is absent. We will evaluate him daily and see how he is doing, but he will not be available (this weekend against Manchester City).”
“It’s a calf issue. We’re going to evaluate him every day and see how he’s doing and continue to improve. He’s an important player for us and we’re going to miss him, but he’s definitely going to miss this game.”
Alison Becker
It is doubtful whether Alisson will play against Tottenham this weekend, but Liverpool manager Arne Slott gave a concerning update in Friday’s press conference.
“He felt something in one of his muscles when he passed the ball, but we checked and it was minor,” the Reds manager said.
“So it didn’t take long, but the game developed so quickly that he had to miss the game against Galatasaray, but I hope he will be ready to play on Sunday. If not, then definitely on Wednesday (the second leg against Galatasaray).”
