Tottenham goalkeeper Antonin Kinski is likely to leave the club on loan this summer after being sent off just 17 minutes into Tuesday night’s heavy defeat to Atletico Madrid.
Antonin Kinski is likely to be allowed to leave Tottenham on loan in the summer to rebuild his career after suffering a goalkeeping blow against Atletico Madrid.
Manager Igor Tudor handed Kinski his first start since October in Tottenham’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg against Atletico, but the 22-year-old is unlikely to endure another difficult night. He made two missed goals and was cruelly substituted by Tudor after just 17 minutes with Spurs already losing 3-0.
The young keeper appeared distraught as he left the pitch, with Tudor accused of failing to even acknowledge the Czech Republic youth international before heading straight down the tunnel.
As people debate the damage that Tuesday night’s experience will do to Kinski’s career, it has emerged that the player is expected to seek a move away from Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

The Telegraph reported that Kinski had asked to be loaned out in the last two transfer windows in order to play regularly, but will seek a move again. However, Tottenham are not expected to go out of their way to boost the shot-stopper’s success this time around.
Kinski joined Tottenham from Slavia Prague in January 2025 for £12.5m and has essentially played as a substitute for Guglielmo Vicario, but his future beyond this season is uncertain.
Spurs are expected to go ahead with plans to overhaul their squad, whether or not they retain their Premier League status, with the club currently sitting just one point above the relegation zone.
Pressure is also mounting on Tudor, who has lost all four games since taking over as interim replacement for Thomas Frank last month. The failure to console Kinski has done little to ease such pressure, with many fans and pundits openly criticizing his actions in Madrid.
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Joe Hart was among those who made the move on the Croatian, telling TNT Sports: “To sign for Spurs and get to this level, one mistake doesn’t change it. It was a technical mistake, but what happened before that… Was it the right decision? Maybe it was the right decision. But what I saw after that…
“I hate to be passive because I want to know all the facts, but the fact that they took him out in that situation that he played in… he’s 22 years old, he’s young, he’s not a man and he hasn’t done anything to try to hurt Spurs.
“(He) has had some bad moments, but to take him away in this situation and not acknowledge the player? All the Tottenham players are in pain and don’t know what to do. How is that good for him?”
