Tottenham are firmly in the relegation battle after losing 2-1 at home to Crystal Palace, with fans calling for manager Igor Tudor to be sacked after just three games.
Embattled manager Igor Tudor has refused to say whether he will take charge in Tottenham’s next game. Croatian manager Tudor led Spurs, who are in the midst of a relegation battle, losing all three games.
Spurs’ 3-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace on Thursday leaves them just one point above the relegation zone, with nine games remaining to avoid relegation. Tudor was in a bad mood after the match, but when asked if he would be in the dugout for Tottenham’s Champions League game against Atletico Madrid next Tuesday, the former Juventus manager had a two-word answer.
“No comment,” Tudor told TNT Sports. The 47-year-old then rejected any questions about his high-profile future, saying: “I’m not thinking in that direction. I’ve got a job to do, that’s all.”
Tudor added: “We need to stop talking about pressure. This is not a topic to talk about.”

Despite the loss, Tudor is more confident of survival than he was before the encounter, as Spurs had taken the lead before collapsing in the first half. “It may sound strange, but after this match I believe even more than before,” he explained.
“I saw something. Energy, passion. The boat is going in the direction I want it to go, and it needs to go, so I need to choose the right people. The people on the boat can stay on the boat. If not, they can leave the boat.”
“So I’m confident that when the other players come back and we pick the right players, we will have a good team and the wins will come. It’s not easy to accept the situation right now, but it is what it is. It’s important to believe and grow. There are still nine games left.”

Tottenham’s next domestic game is away to Liverpool on Sunday 15th March. This will be followed by a return game to their Champions League Round of 16 encounter, followed by a big home game against Nottingham Forest, the team directly below them.
But that may not be the case, as Tudor is facing calls for his removal less than three weeks after taking office. Spurs have lost five games in a row, with their last Premier League victory coming under Thomas Frank in December.
