Customers on certain Sky TV packages will soon be able to access the streaming service at no extra cost.
Sky Sports subscribers will soon receive more than £20 worth of free streaming services as part of a major overhaul of their packages. Sky has announced that free access to Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu will be included in the Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundles.
Customers who pay £42 a month will benefit from Sky TV, free Netflix and discovery+, plus over £20 of streaming platforms included at no extra cost. This offer applies to current Sky Ultimate TV subscribers and those who sign up before the changes come into effect.
However, Sky has confirmed that for subscribers joining from April 1st, the package price will increase by £2 per month. Those who secured Ultimate TV and Sky Sports packages prior to this end will receive Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic With Ads, and Hayu built into their subscription at no additional cost.
This bundle includes comprehensive Sky Sports programming across nine specialist channels featuring Premier League, EFL, Formula 1, darts and golf. Subscribers will also have access to over 135 standard channels, including Sky Atlantic and the upcoming relaunch of Sky One.

HBO is set to debut in the UK on March 26, but the exact launch dates for Disney+ and Hayu have yet to be announced. According to Wales Online, this free streaming package is also available in the standard £22 Ultimate TV bundle without the Sky Sports channel as well.
Sky customers will have access to a wealth of sports documentaries on Disney+, including Welcome to Wrexham, Flintoff and Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story. In addition to these, there are a number of Netflix series available, including Beckham, F1: Drive to Survive, Full Swing, Carlos Alcaraz: My Way, and more.
Sky Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle

From March, Sky will offer Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle customers a free subscription to Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu.
However, customers should note that while HBO Max will be the new home for TNT Sports, you will need a separate TNT Sports plan for full access. Sky also confirmed that prices are “subject to change” over a minimum period of 24 months.
Here’s the full breakdown of the deal:
Sky Ultimate TV and Sky Sports
£42 per month, 24 month contract. 9 Sky Sports channels. Over 135 regular channels including Sky Atlantic. Netflix Standard with ads. Discovery + Entertainment. Ad-supported Disney+ Standard (starting in March, date TBA). HBO Max Basic with ads (starting March 26). Hayu (available from July, some programs from March).
This comes as Virgin Media takes on Sky with its own sports package, cutting the price of its flagship sports bundle from £56.99 to £52.99. It’s more expensive than Sky’s service, but it includes over 200 channels, nine of which are Sky Sports, plus Netflix and 362Mbps broadband.
Announcing the new Ultimate TV package, Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s chief consumer officer, said: “This marks the beginning of a new era for Sky and NOW. In a world first, we will combine Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max and Hayu into a single Sky TV subscription.”
“Nowhere else can we offer such a wide range of great entertainment in a fully integrated experience. Everything our customers love is displayed side-by-side, allowing viewers to easily move from show to show. Millions of existing customers will now have easy access to this new lineup at unmatched value as standard.”
