Arsenal are due to play Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday afternoon but are forced to make alternative travel arrangements due to flight cancellations.
Arsenal were due to fly to Leeds on Friday ahead of their Premier League match at Elland Road, but that was rescheduled due to heavy fog. The Gunners will look for alternative transport options for Saturday’s 3pm kick-off.
There were also suggestions on social media that the plane carrying the team north had turned back midway through the journey, but this is understood to be false. Instead, the Gunners decided not to risk a flight which could have been significantly delayed due to the weather.
It will be the first time Arsenal have played at Elland Road since 2022. Bukayo Saka’s lone goal was enough to take the three points last time out, but Mikel Arteta’s side had to overcome Patrick Bamford’s missed spot-kick and Gabriel Magalhães’ red card overturned.

This was a key result in their surprising title win during the 2022/23 season.
More than three years on, Arsenal travel to Leeds to rediscover their Premier League rhythm.
After losing to Manchester United last weekend, the gap at the top of the Premier League has narrowed to just four points.
Arsenal appear ahead of title contenders Manchester City and Aston Villa, with both able to extend their advantage to seven points and put huge pressure on the chasing group.

This season, Daniel Farke’s side are only behind Arsenal and Chelsea in terms of goals from set pieces.
And assuming the fog does not engulf Elland Street again on Saturday, football.london reports that Arteta is already discussing strategies to counter the danger.
“Well, first of all, understand what they’re doing,” he said. “Keeping the number of goals conceded to a minimum is definitely the best way to go.
“If we concede a goal, we will just defend with our lives and organization to prevent it.”
He also confirmed that both William Saliba and Julian Timber will be considered for selection as they have overcome minor issues that prevented them from playing against Khairat Almaty.
