Pressure mounts on Frank after late defeat against West Ham
Pressure is mounting on Thomas Frank after Callum Wilson scored the winning goal for West Ham United in the final minute at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The 33-year-old, who has been linked with a move away from the club, scored a heart-breaking goal for Spurs in the 93rd minute to snatch a crucial 2-1 win for his side.
This defeat leaves Tottenham in 14th place, one point behind Crystal Palace, and they have lost their last three games in all competitions, going winless in five.
Meanwhile, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have won their first league game since the start of November and are within four points of safety.
The visitors took the lead after just 15 minutes when Crisencio Somerville fired in at the near post, before Cristian Romero equalized just after the hour mark with a powerful header.
However, when Wilson headed home from a corner in stoppage time, Spurs supporters lashed out at the manager, shouting: “You’re fired in the morning.”

Rossenior starts off with a league win with a normal win over Brentford
Joao Pedro put the Blues ahead midway through the opening period and Cole Palmer doubled their advantage with a spot goal with 15 minutes remaining.
However, it wasn’t easy for the hosts as Keith Andrews’ team had more possession of the ball, made more efforts and made more attempts on goal.
However, this win moved Rosenior’s side into sixth place in the league, one point ahead of Brentford and two points out of the top four.
The Englishman continued his strong start in west London after a 5-1 win over Charlton in the FA Cup at the weekend.
The loss ended the Bees’ stellar run in the league, having picked up 14 points from their past six games.

Liverpool draw with Burnley in extra time
Ten minutes after Dominik Szoboszlai hit the bar, Florian Wirtz put the hosts ahead with a powerful finish just before the interval.
However, despite multiple attempts at goal, Liverpool were unable to get another one, and Scott Parker’s side equalized in the second period with Marcus Edwards firing from a narrow angle.
The Reds also extended their unbeaten run in all competitions to 12 games, but would have been hoping for another win against a team that is only seven points behind them in 19th place.

Sunderland come back to inflict further pain on Palace
Sunderland came from behind to beat Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light, further disappointing the visitors after a difficult week.
Jeremy Pino’s deft chip put Oliver Glasner’s side in the lead on the half-hour mark, but Enzo Le Fe’s powerful strike put them back just three minutes later, and Brian Brobbey’s elevated finish put the hosts ahead in the second half.
This comes seven days after Palace lost to non-league side Macclesfield in the FA Cup, Glasner confirmed he would leave Selhurst Park at the end of the season and Manchester City agreed a deal for defender Marc Guehi.
The London side are languishing in 13th place, without a win in their last 10 competitive games and last seven league games.
Meanwhile, Sunderland moved up to 8th place with their first win in six league games.
Leeds sent off late, ending Fulham’s unbeaten run
Leeds United ended Fulham’s six-match unbeaten run with a 1-0 win at Elland Road, with Lucas Nmeka scoring the winning goal in the 91st minute.
After a game lacking in clear-cut chances, the striker came off the bench in the second half and converted Ethan Ampadu’s shot into the net in stoppage time to snatch a vital three points.
The hosts have lost just one of their last nine league games and remain eight points clear of the drop zone after West Ham’s win over Spurs.
Fulham, on the other hand, had a good run with 14 points from six games, but with this defeat they have fallen to 10th place.
