England fans have been told ticket prices for next summer’s World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico, with seats for the final set to cost more than £3,000.
Members of England’s official fan club will have to pay at least £3,129 for a World Cup final ticket if Thomas Tuchel’s side survive next summer. Three Lions supporters learned the price of World Cup tickets after receiving an email from the FA on Thursday, with many furious at the cost they are facing.
Tuchel’s side discovered their opponents for the group stage of the 2026 tournament between the United States, Canada and Mexico in Washington DC last Friday. They play Croatia on June 17th, then Ghana on June 23rd and Panama six days later.
Ahead of next summer’s much-anticipated World Cup, the FA on Thursday emailed England Supporters Travel Club (ESTC) members the price ranges it had received from FIFA. It has been revealed that the minimum price for an England match is just under £135.

In fact, the cheapest ticket is for the group game between Panama and Ghana, which is on offer at £134.11. The opening game against Croatia in Dallas is even more expensive, at just under £200.
Prices for the round of 32 and last 16 are similar at £175 and £220, but the cost increases by 10 times if England advance. Tickets for the quarter-finals are on sale to official supporters for £508 each, while a seat for the semi-finals costs £687, rising almost five times to more than £3,000 for the final in New Jersey on July 19.
This means that if the Three Lions reach the World Cup final, England fans who want to attend every match will have to pay more than £5,000 for match tickets, something the country has not done since 1996.
Based on Thursday’s current exchange rates, the exact cost would be £5186. England fans will be able to start paying for tickets from December 15 to rubber-stamp plans for next summer.
Fans couldn’t have been happier after learning of the money they would have to spend to watch England play in next year’s tournament.
In response to this announcement, one person said, “It’s an outrageous amount.”
Another added: “Cheapest final ticket at £3,000?! And £5,000 for all the travel from the group stage to the final?! Insanity!”
“@FA@England should talk to other national associations about boycotts and other forms of action. FIFA ticket prices are outrageous,” a third wrote.
A fourth said: “The average fan is being priced out of the marquee event by the day. But remember when FIFA and UEFA told us football is meaningless without fans.”
Another gushed: “I was thinking about going to the World Cup… but when the cheapest ticket to the group game against England costs more than the price of a Euro 2024 final ticket, no big deal, no thanks FIFA.”
In addition to this, the FA states that supporters with ESTC Loyal Points collected by following the men’s national team will be offered better Category 2 tickets at Category 3 prices.
Tuchel gave his honest reaction after it was revealed that England would face Croatia, Ghana and Panama in the group stages. “The most important thing is to arrive hungry,” said the German. “We arrive hungry and excited and we arrive as a team. We’re not worried. We’re not worried about our opponents.”
“So, it doesn’t make any sense. We don’t get carried away, we don’t give directions or anything. We just make sure we play well and do well within the group.”
