Sunderland duo Noah Sadiki and Wilson Isidore were left in hysterics with a nasty joke about Alexander Isak during a talent contest. Sky Sports called on supporters to show off their talent in front of the players, and shared one fan’s hilarious story. Comedian Dan has cracked an attention-grabbing joke about Isak’s record-breaking move from Newcastle to Liverpool.
Speaking on the Sky Sports Premier League YouTube channel, he said: “I’ve been supporting Sunderland for over 30 years and as you know, it’s been very ups and downs. There’s been a lot of tough times. Look at this scar on my chest to show you the stress. It’s a heart transplant and I had an operation about five years ago. My heart stopped working like Alexander Isaac did this summer.”
Sadiki appeared shocked and muttered in French, “That’s impossible,” while Isidore burst into laughter. Presenter Adam Smith repeatedly exclaimed, “Oh my god!”
Isidore added: “It’s not funny, he had a heart attack,” before confessing that he couldn’t understand why Smith was laughing when he asked the question.
When Sadiki apologized, Dan reassured them: “It’s okay, that’s the reaction I wanted. Laugh all you want.”
“The stress of supporting Sunderland for over 30 years doesn’t just take its toll on your body, as you can see, it also affects your hairline.
“If you’ve been a Sunderland fan for over 30 years, you’ll find that there are a lot of Sunderland fans who have this hairstyle after years of supporting them.”
Afterwards, both players laughed and agreed. Isak was the talk of the summer after joining Liverpool from Newcastle in a record £125m deal.
However, his early days at Anfield were marred by fitness issues and the challenge of building on-pitch rapport with his new colleagues.
The striker has started just three of his eight Premier League appearances and has scored just one goal, with his only goal coming in last month’s win over West Ham.
In contrast, Sadiki and Isidore are preparing for this weekend’s much-anticipated Tyne Wear derby, when Sunderland will host Newcastle United at the Stadium of Light.
Sadiki is looking to make his 16th league start and Isidore is hoping to secure a new spot in the Black Cats’ lineup.
