Manchester United are planning to celebrate one of their biggest celebrity fans with AngryGinge, following the 24-year-old’s success on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!.
MANCHESTER UNITED are set to celebrate the success of superfan Angry Ginge in the jungle in their next match at Old Trafford. United are said to be “ready to roll out the red carpet” for the winner of reality show I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! By having him at Old Trafford.
The social media superstar and streamer made a name for himself with his support for the Red Devils, and as his profile grew, he let out his trademark ‘Yanited’ cry. The Salford-born king of the jungle, real name Morgan Birtwistle, beat competition from EastEnders actor Shona McGarty and presenter Tom Reid-Wilson in the I’m A Celeb final.
According to a report in the Mail Online, United are keen to invite Zindge, who returned to Manchester on Monday, to play in future home matches and to form part of the team. They reportedly want to give him a chance to celebrate his reality show win on Theater of Dreams.
The 24-year-old almost quit shortly after arriving as he never expected to make it this far in the jungle. He said: “I was debating on the first day and was only there for a few hours.
“It was late when I came in, so I was expecting a steak, but it was one steak for the four of us. It was a shock. It was an eye-opener. Forget about the snakes around your head.”

“And it was getting later and later and the rest of my campmates hadn’t joined up yet, so I was just sitting there thinking, ‘This is going to be hard, this is going to be really hard.'”
United risk a backlash by giving Angry Ginge a place in the crowd after darts sensation Luke Littler was spotted in the away end of the game against Wolves.
The controversial incident comes as United are cracking down on ticket transfers by season ticket holders.
The number of applications often outweighs the number of tickets available for online claims by a 4-to-1 ratio. United supporters must also have held season tickets for at least four years before signing up for away games. Littler does not meet the criteria.
Adidas, United’s kit manufacturer, is said to have gifted tickets to Littler and his friends. The 18-year-old world darts champion posted on Instagram less than 24 hours before the match asking for “3 tickets”.
“I’m willing to pay more than face value,” he added.
