Mikel Arteta has built a team of players who support each other in his bid to win this title, and this was never more evident than in Arsenal’s crushing victory over Tottenham.
Something special happened in the Arsenal dressing room after the North London derby. The club released a video on social media of all of their players descending back down the tunnel following the 4-1 win over Tottenham.
It was all about hat-trick hero Eberechi Eze. Piero Hincapie, who came on in place of Gabriel, was excellent and played perfectly. Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard were outstanding.
Bukayo Saka danced and moved to the music after the match. There was a really moving scene. And surprisingly, it wasn’t just their problem. Victor Gokeres, Martin Odegaard and others were waiting in the dressing room. Injured players wanted to participate.
I’m sure Gabriel was the same way. He walked off the pitch wearing an Arsenal scarf and other items and joined in the celebrations.
All the players who were absent, and there were quite a few, were keen to join in the celebrations. Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz are really popular and great team members.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is always talking about the team and the togetherness, and he spoke about the scenes in the dressing room, the celebrations and what that meant to the players.
Listen, rival fans will tell you that’s totally normal. And that’s just what you expect. But this is football. Egos arise, players get fed up, and some don’t want to celebrate if they’re not playing. You’ll be surprised!
Some players are in terrible condition when they get injured. They don’t agree with that at all. Jesus is a great example. I’m hungry and can’t wait to go back, it’s really affected me.
Gyokeres is really pushed into a corner. His spirituality is extraordinary. Odegaard is a very strong leader and a very popular captain. You don’t have to outwardly show signs of being a gladiator or anything.
Arteta loves Odegaard because he sets the tempo and leads the press. If you watch and know football, that means you’re the leader of the Lionhearts these days.
Mikel Merino had an interesting match. At first, I had a hard time playing with my back to the goal. He dropped deeper, played with the goal in front of him, and was great after that. That’s another tribute to a player who is a great team member.
This group has a cohesiveness that comes from winning. But it’s actually much more than that. Arteta and Arsenal have a particularly targeted character in place. They want people who support the players and unity in the locker room.
I can’t believe Hincapie was suspected. This is a serious player. Ecuador’s success with Bayer Leverkusen has cemented their reputation as World Cup dark horses. They have great players.
Arsenal signed a player who arrived knowing he might have to play second fiddle to Gabriel for a little while. But as he bides his time, they clearly laid the groundwork and will now get his chance. It’s not like I stepped on the wrong foot.
This is all about squad building. This is why Arteta believes Arsenal can win the title this season.
They’re in it together. Arsenal have a tough game ahead of them. They need to be rested and rotated. Wednesday is Bayern Munich. Chelsea on Sunday.
Next week, they play Brentford on Wednesday night before playing away to Aston Villa on Saturday lunchtime. That is truly a crime.
However, the Premier League will probably also step in at some point, as football authorities have changed Crystal Palace’s Carabao Cup qualification slot to ease the competition. someone?
That’s when the team shines. And all the big guns will be back in the coming weeks and during the games.
