“Everything you see with Erling is what you get,” FG told Sky Bet’s In The Mixer. “He could have had some games where he probably didn’t play well, just last season. You can see he’s being chased by the media.
“But he’s just a big kid. All he wants to do is have fun. He’s very respectful of everyone. At City we have open days to the media and he’s great, not just to me but to everyone else.”

“Sometimes you have to think to yourself, ‘What is this guy really doing on the weekend and not doing anything negative?’ He’s a great guy. He’s a really funny guy too. He’s an unbelievable player.”
The YouTuber and Esports gamer also believes Haaland is not finished developing at City and has the potential to evolve into an even more deadly goalscorer. He commented: “You know what’s scary? I believe he can do more. I think he can do more.”
“You saw his mentality last season, scoring goals even when everything was difficult. He was still in the conversation and you can see the change this year. Haaland seems more relaxed. He’s a YouTuber now. He’s doing side jobs and things like that and he’s having fun.”
“If he keeps smiling, that can be dangerous. I think when I say he needs to do more, it’s less about scoring goals and more about what he does when he has the ball and when he’s off the ball. He’s already gotten a lot better this year. He’s gotten a lot better with the ball, and he’s involved in link-up plays.”
