Bournemouth star Antoine Semenho has been one of the Premier League’s standout players over the past few seasons and is now attracting admiration from some of the league’s biggest players.
Liverpool and Manchester City are set to go head-to-head over the signing of Antoine Semenyo, with both sides eyeing the Bournemouth star ahead of the January transfer window.
Semenyo, 25, has been one of the top-flight’s standout players in recent seasons. And although the Ghanaian international committed his future to Bournemouth after signing a new contract with the Cherries earlier this year, there are many teams involved in his performance.
However, Semenyo’s new five-year contract has not dampened interest in the talented attacker’s services, with Sky Sports reporting that Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham are keeping an eye on him in the new year.
The club remain impressed with his performances this season, suggesting a winter bid cannot be ruled out. However, Semenyo has not asked to leave the Vitality Stadium and has been troubled by recent claims to the contrary.

Regarding the speculation surrounding his future, Semenyo said: “I don’t think about it too much. I try to stay in it as much as possible. I always watch the news, I watch it too, it’s not that I don’t care, but I try to stay focused.”
“I’m enjoying my football here. If I’m not scoring goals, it all goes away. I’m staying where I am, doing my best for the team, scoring goals and trying to see what happens in the future.”
“When they (his former team-mates) all left (in the summer) there was a lot of interest and interaction at the club.
“But I knew in my head that the manager was trying to do something this year. The way the season ended last year was very good and I think we can continue, especially with the players we have brought in.”

“I wasn’t very confident at first, but it’s going like a house on fire. I’m glad I decided to stay here, because I’m enjoying every moment.”
Semenyo has scored six goals in just nine Premier League appearances for Bournemouth this season. His new contract is scheduled to run until 2030.
New talk about his future has emerged as general manager Tim Bezbatchenk insists the club won’t stand in the way of any players if a big offer comes in. He said: “When clubs like Real Madrid, Liverpool and PSG come in and compete for Champions League places, who are we to say, ‘No, we can’t go, we can’t fulfill our dreams’?”
“No, it won’t be for every club, because not everyone is Real Madrid. But there’s a chance and everyone wins, right? I think that’s what we’re trying to find, this common ground where everyone can win.”
