Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has spoken about his experience managing Jude Bellingham at Los Blancos, following criticism of Thomas Tuchel’s attitude.
Carlo Ancelotti has admitted there was “nothing wrong” with Jude Bellingham’s behavior when they worked together at Real Madrid, insisting he is a “professional” and a “serial worker”.
After England’s 3-1 defeat to Senegal in June, Bellingham’s behavior became a hot topic after England head coach Thomas Tuchel branded his behavior “disgusting”.
The 22-year-old, who underwent shoulder surgery in the summer, was not selected for England ahead of the September international break and was again left out of the squad for the October match.
Bellingham rejoined the Three Lions squad this week for two World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania, but questions remain over his relationship with Tuchel following his comments.

Tuchel may still have concerns about Bellingham’s attitude, but former Real Madrid manager Ancelotti is not, praising the former Borussia Dortmund man in a recent interview.
Ancelotti told the Rest Is Football podcast: “I’ve never had a problem with Jude’s attitude. He’s a really professional player and he works hard in training like any other English player.” “I have no complaints at all.”
“I think Jude is a great player. When you talk about Kaka, if you compare him to him, he’s the type of player,” he continued. “He’s a really talented player, he’s very physical and he’s great at arriving in the box at the right time.
“He’s done really well. He’s feeling really good. Maybe he had a problem with his shoulder. He was out for a couple of months, but now he’s back. There are no question marks.”
At last Friday’s press conference, Tuchel appeared to have resolved any issues he had with Bellingham and his personality after selecting him for November’s international squad.
“There’s nothing wrong with him, there’s nothing wrong with his personality,” Tuchel said. “Jude just has an edge, and that’s a really good thing because you need some edge to reach the heights he’s reached.
“We need to help him and create an environment where he can (use) this advantage against the opponents and the goals we are building as a team.”
Bellingham returned from shoulder surgery in September and has appeared in 11 games since then, recording three goals and one assist. Last month, the Stourbridge-born sensation lit up El Clasico with a goal and an assist for Real against Barcelona.
England face Serbia at Wembley Stadium on Thursday before heading to Albania for the final World Cup qualifiers for next summer’s North American tournament.
