Andrew Robertson has been a great servant to Liverpool since joining from Hull City and has spoken of the possibility of leaving as his contract expires this summer.
Andrew Robertson insists he is “relaxed” about his future at Liverpool, but accepts this could be his last season at the club. The Scottish full-back is out of contract next summer, meaning he could leave for free in just six months.
He has been linked with a move away from Liverpool in the recent period, having been usurped from Liverpool’s pecking order by summer signing Milos Kerkes. Atlético Madrid were reported to be interested in him, but no deal was reached.
Robertson has regained his place under Arn Slott, but his future remains uncertain. However, the 31-year-old Scottish defender remains laid-back about the situation and has confirmed that discussions will take place with club leaders if necessary.
“I think last season everyone was tired of talking about those three (Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold), but for me the relationship between the club and me has been great,” Robertson said.
“They’ve done everything for me and my family. I don’t think I’ve been too bad for them in terms of signing for Hull for £8 million and what I’ve done.”

“Whatever happens will happen behind closed doors and I’m relaxed about the whole situation. If this is my last year, it’s my last year. If not, so be it.
“But I think it’s definitely been a bit of a stressful summer in terms of decisions and stuff. And I just told myself I’m going to enjoy the next few months and then maybe it’ll start to take over my life. There’s no doubt about that.”
Robertson added: “These things happen when you go into the last six months. I’m just trying to focus on the football right now. I’m happy to be back on the pitch and happy to be back for the last few games.”

“It’s important and we’ll see what happens. But overall I’m relaxed and the club has been great for me.”
Robertson joined Liverpool from Hull City in 2017 and went on to make 354 competitive appearances for the Reds.
During that time, he helped Liverpool win two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the FA Cup and two League Cups, while the club also won the FIFA Club World Cup under former manager Jurgen Klopp.
