Manchester City have been waiting more than two-and-a-half years for a verdict on 115 charges from the Premier League, but the final outcome could be near
Manchester City could learn the outcome of the Premier League charges during the November international break. More than two-and-a-half years have passed since the league accused Man City of 115 breaches of regulations, and a verdict is reportedly imminent.
The marathon public hearings began in mid-September last year, and the anniversary of their conclusion approached in early December. However, a decision is likely to be made by then, perhaps during the international break scheduled for next month, the third time of the season so far.
This season in particular marks the penultimate break in Premier League football, with the next break not arriving until March. The i Paper claims that a person with inside knowledge of how the arbitration case works said legal experts are preparing for a decision in mid-November.

It also cited sources who claimed that a vote on Financial Fair Play, scheduled for late next month, could be “completely overshadowed” by the incident.
The paper claims multiple Premier League club officials believe a decision will be made by the end of this year at the latest.
Additionally, they quoted a source saying, “It’s been so quiet right now and has been going on for so long that it’s almost forgotten, but all hell could break loose when it makes landfall.”
The report reveals that a staggering 250,000 documents may be involved in the case.
Legal experts are said to be working on the basis that each week of consecutive hearings requires four weeks of deliberation.
This was also the case in the first case regarding Everton’s profitability and sustainability over five days, as detailed in the report. Applying this assumption to Man City’s charges, the supposed 12-week case would take 48 weeks and be concluded in early November.

Earlier this month, former Man City legal adviser Stefan Bolson told talkSPORT: “I think the simple reality is that, as of last weekend, neither party has made a decision on the panel. This is not to say that both parties have made a decision and there are negotiations or settlement talks going on behind the scenes. It’s very simple. They haven’t made a decision on the panel yet.”
“In hindsight, I don’t think there’s any real excuse for any further delay. I think they would have done that even if they were busy with other things, but I think it’s really unusual that over the last 10 months, no schedule has been set with them, no arrangements have been made with them to pay for their time.”
“I think 10 months is enough to get a very detailed 400- or 500-page judgment on this case on any basis, and I think that’s imminent. I know I’ve said it many times here before, but I thought it was very likely that a judgment would be handed down in this international window.
“I think it’s very likely that it will be announced in the next international slot, but I really don’t think it will last until 2026. However, I can’t imagine it extending beyond 2026. I think it will almost be announced.”
“Why haven’t I received an email in my inbox at this point? I don’t know. It’s entirely possible that it arrived in the last 24 hours, but certainly as of last weekend, it wasn’t a case of confidential talks or confidential settlement negotiations. It’s very, very simple. They hadn’t received a decision.”
