Liverpool are rumored to be interested in signing Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, who has been in good form in the Premier League this season.
Recent reports claim that the arrival of Liverpool’s young talent Rio Ngumoja has changed the club’s transfer plans. The Daily Mail suggests Arne Slott’s side considered signing Bournemouth wide forward Antoine Semenyo in last summer’s transfer window.
However, the Reds didn’t want to hinder the 17-year-old prodigy’s progress. Ngmoha has already featured in five games in all competitions this season, coming on as a substitute to score the winning goal against Newcastle United at St James’s Park.
Despite Slott carefully managing his development, buzz has swirled around the young winger.

However, Liverpool have been looking a bit thin on wing options lately, with the Reds said to be eyeing Semenyo as one of the Premier League clubs, reports the Liverpool Echo.
The report claims the Cherries will demand more than £75m for the 25-year-old, who has scored six goals and provided three assists in just eight Premier League games.
There has been no interest from Liverpool yet, but they are one of several clubs tracking the forward. Semenyo is an important part of Andoni Iraola’s side and Bournemouth are under no pressure to sell their star player in January.
Bournemouth have already made around £155m from player sales in recent summers, including selling Dean Huyssen to Real Madrid, Ilia Zabalny to PSG and Milos Kerkes to Liverpool.
The Cherries have started the season in good form and are currently fourth in the table, with their sights set on a European qualification spot.
According to reports, Tottenham and Manchester United were interested last year, and Bournemouth could be on the table this summer for a hefty £75m transfer fee.
There have been rumors that the Ghana international will have a release clause in his contract in 2026, but that claim remains unconfirmed at this time.
Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also reportedly interested in Semenyo, with the latter considering him as a potential replacement for Michael Oliseh if contract negotiations fail.
Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes, who signed Semenyo from Bristol City in 2023 and maintains a good relationship with Cherries, could play a key role in future transfer negotiations.
