Manchester United faced Brighton at Old Trafford today, marking their first consecutive Premier League win under Ruben Amorim. Last Sunday, the Red Devils beat Sunderland 2-0 at Anfield and beat Liverpool 2-1.
United were able to ride their luck against Arne Slott’s side into the lead, as Liverpool were guilty of missing countless chances. However, this back-to-back win has undoubtedly given United’s players new confidence as they look to build on their momentum against the Seagulls.
Express Sport reporters decide how the United manager should fare against Fabian Hürzeler’s side…

Amorim was criticized by some after choosing to leave summer signing Benjamin Sesco out of the Anfield starting squad for £74m. But his decision paid off as Matheus Cunha worked his socks off and added an attacking threat to a front line that included Brian Mbeumo and Mason Mount.
Mount seems to be highly rated by every manager he plays with, but Mbeumo was United’s most dangerous player during the early stages of his career at Old Trafford. Therefore, the Portuguese coach should not interfere with his attacking line.
In fact, it would be completely unwise for Mr. Amorim to tinker with his team. It may be a cliché, but why do we need to change the winning team? United looked much stronger across the pitch than they did for most of last season, with Senne Lamence proving to be a calming presence between the sticks. And players like Harry Maguire and Casemiro are also enjoying a new lease on life after a difficult period for the duo.

United have just won back-to-back games for the first time in a while, so why change teams?
Feelings still high from last weekend’s win against Liverpool, it would make sense to start an unchanged squad against Brighton, even if it means leaving Sesco on the bench again.
The attacking trio of Mbeumo, Mount and Cunha have done a great job at Anfield and will be hoping to lead the Red Devils to a similar result against the Seagulls.

A wise man once said that there is no need to change a winning team, but now more than ever it makes no sense for Amorim to start tinkering with his eleven.
The United manager finally has a modicum of momentum left to grab and push Sesco, but that’s only because he’s likely to shoot himself in the foot as he’s a huge £74m summer signing.
Last time I checked, soccer was being played on the grass and the price tag couldn’t win the game. Amorim should make the most of the luxury of not having to worry about rotating a busy schedule packed into Europe.

After such a good result at Anfield last time out, it seems appropriate for Amorim to stay with the same team for as long as possible.
The extent of Maguire and Mount’s injuries is unknown, but it may be a bit of a risk to feature the latter given his fitness issues. But hopefully United can benefit from that strikerless system again.
Sesco could easily be reinserted into the starting XI, but Cunha impressed against Liverpool and I don’t think he’ll be anywhere close to scoring his first goal for the Reds.
