It’s a blockbuster Premier League weekend as Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher once again heat up their prediction battles, and we’re once again asking you to vote for every match.
Liverpool will be desperate to stop a third successive league defeat when they visit Brentford on Saturday night, broadcast live on TNT Sport and Discovery Plus. The Reds currently trail leaders Arsenal by four points, with Mikel Arteta’s side set to face Crystal Palace in a heated London derby on Sunday.

Manchester City, backed by the relentless Erling Haaland, are back in form and head to Aston Villa on Sunday looking for a fourth successive win in all competitions.

Elsewhere, Manchester United will aim for a third successive win against Brighton at Old Trafford on Saturday, moving one closer to a long-promised haircut, while Sean Dyche will make his Premier League return with Nottingham Forest at Bournemouth on Sunday. The Premier League weekend begins on Friday night with Leeds taking on West Ham.

Fletch defeated Allie 6-5 last time out, extending its overall lead to nine points. The table after 8 rounds is as follows: Remember, you can vote on all matches below.

Fletch: “Liverpool stepped up a gear again in midweek. I think it was too much for Brentford. I want Liverpool to keep the momentum going. We got a little bit of confidence back in Germany.”

Prediction: Brentford 1-3 Liverpool.

Alli also predicted that Liverpool would win 3-1.

arsenal v crystal palace

Fletch: “Arsenal are a slightly better team, but Palace are decent. Palace lost in the Conference League this week and they need to bounce back from that. But that’s the only impression Arsenal have at the moment. I think it’s going to be a tough team for everyone.”

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Crystal Palace

Alli predicted that Arsenal would win 2-0.
