The announcement was made on Instagram, declaring: “Chelsea Football Club star Moises Caicedo has separated from his former football agent Manuel Sierra of Football Division Worldwide and is no longer represented by his agent. Epic’s Ali Barrat is also no longer represented. The contract ends on August 14, 2025 and the player has now appointed someone he trusts.”
The last sentence of his declaration is particularly fascinating, hinting at a potential rift. However, shortly after, Caicedo deleted the post.

Mirror Football has contacted Sierra for comment. Sierra played a key role in securing a move from Brighton to the Blues, despite Liverpool reportedly offering a more secure offer.
Meanwhile, Barratt is currently looking after several high-profile footballers who have recently been linked with Chelsea, including Noni Madueke and Nicholas Jackson.
Mr. Caicedo was also considered to be his representative, but the statement above makes it clear that this is not the case.
The Ecuadorian international has been in great form throughout this season, scoring two great goals while being relentless in the engine room.
Caicedo was at Cobham during the October international break and is one of the players with minor concerns. “This afternoon we will evaluate Caicedo, João Pedro and Andrei Santos,” Enzo Maresca revealed at the press conference before the Champions League game against Benfica at the end of September.
“Unfortunately for us, they are all players and have some small issues. So we’ll find out tomorrow whether they’re available or not. “Certainly at the moment we have injuries, but I think we have enough personnel in the team to compensate for the injuries.
Caicedo played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 win and again a few days later in the 2-1 success against Liverpool.
Chelsea will travel to the City Ground this weekend to prepare for a match against Nottingham Forest at lunchtime on Saturday, aiming for a third successive win.
Pedro and Caicedo are expected to be available despite missing international appearances with Brazil and Ecuador respectively, but there are also concerns over Enzo Fernandes following his departure from Argentina.
His country was scheduled to play Puerto Rico in the early hours of Wednesday morning, but he ended up missing out and returned to Cobham in the hope of suiting up for Chelsea.
