Kieran Trippier’s estranged wife Charlotte called the police about a burglary at her home. The incident comes after the Newcastle United and England star split from his partner last year.
The estranged wife of Newcastle United defender Kieran Trippier has been forced to call the police after burglars tried to break into their £2 million mansion.
The Sun reported that the intruders apparently tried to force entry by crashing their vehicle into the home’s electronic security gate, then used tools to pry it open. Charlotte Trippier, who separated from Kieran last year, has three children with Kieran, 35.
Cheshire Police confirmed that an investigation into the incident was ongoing after “suspicious activity” took place at Charlotte’s home in an upmarket area of the county.

The report said officers were monitoring nearby surveillance footage to see if anyone had been captured lurking in the area.
A spokesperson said: “We have received a report of suspicious activity at an address and are making inquiries to confirm the situation.”
Charlotte said she was horrified by the attempted attack and increased security.
Earlier this year, Charlotte posted an update on her health on social media after moving from her apartment complex in the North East.
In a video message, she said: “Obviously, I’m not ready to talk about my situation. I’ll talk about it eventually when I’ve calmed down and the time is right.”
“And I have three young children, so I don’t want anything out there that they can see.”
“It’s not that bad,” she added while offering support to followers going through a similar situation. “The glow will definitely come back… We will get there.”
Meanwhile, the Newcastle United star is in his third full season at St James’ Park after joining from Atletico Madrid in January 2022. He has been a key starter under coach Eddie Howe in recent years, but has been forced to reduce his role in recent years.
However, his playing time increased again due to injuries to starting fullback duo Lewis Hall and Tino Livramento. He has started seven games this season, including two in the Champions League, but was not called up to Thomas Tuchel’s England squad this month.
Trippier is in the final 12 months of the three-and-a-half year contract he signed when he joined the club, but it is currently unclear what his next move will be.
