PARIS (AP) – Defending champion Paris Saint-Germain beat Orchisare 2-0 at home on Saturday to clear three points at the top of the League One, but suffered injuries.
Midfielder Vitanya fell out late in the first half after creating his first goal, with Georgia winger Kvicha Kvaratzkeria being replaced by a apparent thigh muscle injury at halftime. Champions League winner PSG will be in Barcelona on Wednesday in the second round of the league phase game.
PSG already has no injuries to Captain Marquinos, and Ballon d’Or Osmane Dembele, fellow forward Desiredou and midfielder Joan Neves, who were injured in the central defense.
The goals for both PSGs came from the central defenders.
