Manchester, UK (AP) – Manchester United Despite missing out on Champions League football and enduring the worst Premier League campaign in history, he recorded record revenues on his latest annual account.

However, despite revenues of £666.5 million ($910 million), the 20-time UK champions still reported a loss of £33 million ($45 million).

“Generating record revenues in such a challenging year for the club shows the resilience that is characteristic of Manchester United,” said CEO Omar Bellada.

The account for the year ending June 30, 2025 came after a small number of owners, Jimratcliffe, embarked on cost-cutting measures. The measure has seen two rounds of job cuts with estimated ticket prices increase with over 400 staff members.

United told fans in January I couldn’t maintain that loss And Ratcliffe later said the club was in danger of running out of money by the end of the year.

The losses fell from £113.2 million to £33 million.

United’s commercial strength has seen them struggle to keep pace with Premier League rivals like Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal despite continued trouble on the field.

He didn’t play in the lucrative Champions League last season, finishing 15th in the top division of England’s 20 teams. This is the lowest since the 1992 Premier League began.

He also recorded his lowest points total and highest losses, and was unable to qualify for European soccer competitions this season.

United have not won a league title since Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

This season hasn’t started well either. Reuben Amorim’s team won only one of four games; Removed from the English League Cup in Grimsby Town, Level 4.

“When we settle for the 2025-26 season, we’re working hard to improve clubs in all our local areas,” Belada said. “When you start to feel the benefits of a cost-cutting program, there is great potential for improving your financial performance, which will support your top priorities.

United said the departure of former manager Erik Ten Hag, who was fired last October, is included in the 36.6 million ($50 million).

United’s major debt remains at $650 million.
