LONDON (AP) – The summer transfer window for European football will be closed on Monday, with the focus most on the massive Premier League, with Alexander Isaac, Genluigi Donnaruma and Emimartinez likely to close out prominent moves on the deadline day.
A record £2.7 billion ($3.65 billion) single window spending by England’s top flight clubs could be supercharged if Liverpool finally secured Isaac’s signature after Liverpool ultimately chasing the Newcastle striker.
British media reports that Liverpool has reached an agreement with Newcastle to buy it for £125 million ($170 million). Neither club has formally commented on potential deals.
Liverpool has already spent £300 million ($400 million) on this transfer period (more than any other team in Europe) and has signed Florian Wiltz, Hugo Echicchique, Jeremy Frimon and Milos Kerkez.
It is possible that two of the world’s top goalkeepers are also on the move.
Donnarumma has not played for Paris Saint-Germain this season and has reportedly linked Italian International to a move to Manchester City.
