FRISCO, Texas (AP) – Son Hyun Min scored his first goal to allow Los Angeles FC to win a 1-1 draw with FC Dallas on Saturday night.
Heung-Min scored an assist in the first goal of the six minutes of his third MLS appearance, giving LAFC (11-6-8) the lead.
Dallas (7-11-9) even pulled in 13 minutes when Logan Farrington scored his career-high fifth goal using an assist from Patrickson Delgado (third). Farrington scored four goals in 29 appearances last season as a rookie.
Michael Collody finished with four saves for Dallas in his fifth career start. Collodi, 24, allowed four goals while filling out for injured starter Maarten Paes.
Hugo Lloris saved one shot for LAFC. This leads the best series of all time, despite a 1-4-2 record at Frisco.
The only road victory in the LAFC series was 3-2 on October 20, 2021. The club is 3-3-6 this season.
LAFC have only lost twice in their last 18 games. The Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps have a 1-0 loss at home.
Dallas is 3-8-3 at home, but is 2-1-2 in their last five games.
LAFC will host San Diego FC on August 31st. Dallas will return to action in the city of St. Louis on September 6th.
