Arsenal confirmed that Crystal Palace striker Eveletieze has signed its signature for £67 million (Euro 80 million). Eze will wear the No. 10 shirt and will bring Arsenal’s spending this summer to around 300 million euros.
Eze, 27, was the protagonist of this summer’s great melodrama after Tottenham Hotspur negotiated a signature for two weeks and verbally agreed with the club and players, but Arsenal “stolen” the move at the final moments.

Kai Herberts’ knee injury, which prevented him from training with his teammates this week, forced the gunners to rely on the market and within hours he was able to reach the same agreement as Eze.
“I’m pleased to sign Ebebeki,” said Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, “I’m delighted to sign Ebebeki. He’s a powerful and exciting footballer who gives us a new dimension to offensive. In addition to his talent and intelligence as a footballer, I would like to emphasize that he has worked throughout his career today. The Spanish coach added.
With Eze’s signature, Arsenal spends over 300 million euros this summer, with sales of just 8 million euros. Mikel Arteta’s team, runner-up in the last three Premier League seasons, has signed Martins Vimendi (70), Victor Gyoker (66), Noni Madueke (56), Christian No Guard (12) and Kepa Arizabaraga (5).
Eze will be available at Arteta for the next match the Gunners will face Liverpool on Sunday.
