MANSHETER, England (AP) — Swedish forward Fridrina Rolf joined Manchester United on Friday to finish his four-year stint with Barcelona.
Rolf, 31, signed a contract until June 2027.
Lorfe, who was primarily used as a leftist, made his 100th appearance in Sweden at the European Championships last month. She has 33 international goals.
She previously played club soccer for Wolfsberg and Bayern Munich, winning two Champions League titles for Barcelona and scoring a clinch goal in one of the finals.
United finished third in the Women’s Super League last season and will play in the Champions League.
“The WSL is probably the most powerful league in the world right now,” Rolf said.
