FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Luka Gavran made four saves Wednesday night, helping Toronto FC to a scoreless draw with Matt Turner and the New England Revolution.
Gavran made three saves in the first half for his second straight clean sheet after Toronto (3-6-7) played to a scoreless draw with CF Montreal on Thursday. This was his career-high third shutout in 16 games this season.
Turner made one save in the first half for New England (8-5-2). He has kept a career-best four clean sheets in 15 starts.
The Revolution are 1 win, 1 loss, and 1 draw at home since starting the season with a club-record six consecutive wins.
New England started the day in fourth place in the Eastern Conference after a two-month hiatus for the World Cup.
