MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Manchester United regained a Brazilian presence in central midfield on Monday with the signing of Andrei Santos from Chelsea to replace the departed player. Casemiro.
Joined Santos united A few weeks after Casemiro left the club when his contract expired, he joined on a five-year deal.
He came on as a substitute when Chelsea won the Club World Cup last year, and played in 43 competitive matches for the team last season.
Santos said in a statement: “Everything about Manchester United is special. It’s an incredible feeling to be joining the club that some of my biggest idols have represented.”
