MILAN (AP) – Inter Milan’s Italian defender Alessandro Bastoni is being investigated on suspicion of child prostitution.
This is part of a large-scale investigation by the Milan public prosecutor’s office into the alleged escort ring.
Bastoni was subpoenaed to appear before prosecutors on Friday. He is accused of paying for sex with one of the girls, who was 17 at the time, in June 2020.

“My client is very upset,” said Bastoni’s lawyer, Salvatore Scootto. “We can also rule out the possibility that he engaged in paid sexual relations, let alone with minors.”
