MILAN (AP) — Inter Milan has parted ways with four important players.
The Serie A champions said goodbye to goalkeeper Jan Sommer and veteran defenders Stefan de Vrij, Francesco Acerbi and Matteo Darmian, whose contracts expired on Tuesday.
Inter released a lengthy statement about each player, accompanied by a video of their highlight play with the Nerazzurri.
De Vrij, 34 years old He was Inter’s longest-serving player, staying for eight seasons, during which time he won nine trophies, including three Serie A titles and three Italian Cups.
