“This club means the world to us,” he told Sky Sports. “I think it took us a few years to understand what that meant, but now we have great people, great players and great coaches.
“We have to continue to give them the resources to go out and do magical things like they did this season.”
He described the Premier League as “slower to burn than the Championship in America”.
“The cumulative points are tough here. You’ll start to feel it in December,” he said. “Credit to the players, staff and Mikel for always keeping their heads up. They deserve it.”
For Sunday’s big occasion, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and his players wore the team’s traditional red and white kit with ‘Champions 2026’ written on the back. Arteta was held aloft by his team in a scene of jubilation.
The season could be even better for Arsenal, who also reached the Champions League final. First time since 2006. Paris Saint-Germain will play in Budapest, Hungary next Saturday.
“We accomplished one of our goals, but we have several others,” Josh Kroenke said. “We still have games left for next weekend. Today is about enjoying today. Tomorrow we go back to work because we still have games left.”
