FIFA said: “Dai Dai brings together the global sounds and energy of Shakira and Burna Boy to celebrate football, culture and unity in a vibrant celebration of football, culture and unity.”
In early May, Colombian singer Shakira previewed Friday’s news Sharing a one-minute teaser clip of the new song, he wrote on social media: “This is the official 2026 FIFA World Cup song ‘Dai Dai’ from Maracanã Stadium.”
FIFA has announced that royalties from the song, available on major streaming platforms, will support the FIFA Global Citizenship Education Fund.
