BERGAMO, Italy (AP) — Lazio’s 21-year-old goalkeeper Edoardo Motta saved four consecutive spot kicks on Wednesday as the Roma club defeated Atalanta in a penalty shootout to advance to the knockout stages. italian cup final.

After extra time, the score was 1-1. The first leg ended 2-2.

Motta, who joined Lazio in January, saved shots from Gianluca Scamacca, Davide Zappacosta, Mario Pašalić and Charles de Quetelaere as Lazio won the shootout 2-1 with goals from Gustav Isaksen and Kenneth Taylor.

Lazio will face Serie A leaders Inter Milan in the final on May 13th.

After a 0-0 first leg, Inter came back from two goals behind to win 3-2 against Como on Tuesday.

Alessio Romagnoli and Pašić exchanged goals towards the end of regulation. Motta hit the post with Scamacca’s header in stoppage time.
