LYON, France (AP) – Lyon coach Paulo Fonseca is not satisfied with Endrick’s form and wants more from the teenage Brazilian forward.

They were powerless against Angers in Ligue 1 last weekend, and sixth-place Lyon’s winless record has now reached nine games in total.
“I’m not happy with Endrik’s play,” Fonseca said on Friday. “I’m not here to hurt players, but I expect more from a player like Endrick and I think he has an obligation to do more.”
However, a few days earlier, in a friendly match against Croatia in Orlando, Florida, Endrik made a strong impact, coming on as a substitute for Brazil, winning a penalty kick and scoring the third goal in a 3-1 win.
“He said he was a little tired from the trip (back from Orlando),” Fonseca said. “But I think he has a responsibility to do more.”
Endrick has six goals in 15 games. Lyon are similarly starved of goals, having scored just three goals in their past six games heading into Sunday’s home match against Lorient.
Lyon are two points behind third-place Lille with six matches remaining. The top three teams automatically qualify for the Champions League, and the team that finishes fourth advances to the qualifiers.
