VIGO, Spain (AP) — Madonna has answered the call from a Spanish soccer club. Looking for my long lost jersey Worn by pop icons over 30 years ago.
Madonna She responded to a plea for information about the whereabouts of the shirt from Spanish soccer club Celta Vigo on Saturday with a post on X saying she still owned it.
“This shirt is in my archives. I wear this shirt to represent your team spirit!” Madonna said.
Celta this week published an open letter to Madonna asking if she still has the light blue and white Celta jersey she wore during her 1990 concert at Balidos Stadium.
Club President Marian Mourinho Terrasso said: “Over time, we have come to better understand what you stood for back then: questioning the established norms and standing up to those who try to tell you what you can and cannot do. At our club, we see ourselves in this mindset. That is why we continue to hold out the hope of finding the clothes you once wore.”
