FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) – Tottenham forward Randal Kolo Muani is set to feature in Wednesday’s Champions League match at Eintracht Frankfurt despite being involved in a “minor” car accident, according to manager Thomas Frank.
On Tuesday, a photo of France international Kolo Muani and Tottenham teammate Wilson Odbert standing next to a damaged black Ferrari went viral on social media. They had participated in an open training session at the club’s practice facility earlier in the day.
Odbert was in his car, but reportedly stopped to help Kolo Muani and drove with him to Germany.
Frank said at a news conference Tuesday night that Kolo Muani is “fine.”
Frank said, “We’ve got a flat tire, so we’re a little late, but we should be landing later tonight.”
Frank said the incident occurred as the players were on their way to the airport.
“I fully expect to have both available (against Eintracht),” he said.
