LONDON (AP) – England’s FA Cup holders Crystal Palace will face sixth-tier side Macclesfield in the third round next month after a draw will be held on Monday.
Macclesfield are one of four minor league clubs remaining in the FA Cup and sit 14th in National League North.
The team, formerly known as Macclesfield Town, reached the fourth round of the competition in 2013 but lost to Wigan.
Palace are currently in fourth place in the Premier League.
The draw means there are four games in the Premier League overall, with Aston Villa heading to Tottenham. Everton face Sunderland, Newcastle face Bournemouth and Manchester United host Brighton.
Premier League leaders Arsenal faced 2008 champions Portsmouth, while Wrexham had a high-profile clash at home to Nottingham Forest.
Liverpool will host Barnsley, Manchester City will visit Exeter from the third tier, and Chelsea will visit their London rivals Charlton from the second tier.
