MILAN (AP) — Inter Milan moved into first place with a 4-0 win over big-money Como. Serie A Saturday.
Lautaro Martinez, Markus Thuram, Hakan Calhanoglu and Carlos Augusto scored at San Siro.
Inter were two points ahead of city rivals AC Milan and defending champions Napoli.
Napoli host Juventus and former manager Luciano Spalletti on Sunday, while Milan visit Turin on Monday.
Como remained in 6th place.
Earlier, Sassuolo overcame undefeated Fiorentina from a goal difference to win 3-1 with goals from Cristian Volpato, Tarik Muharemovic and Ismael Kone.
Fiorentina have 25 fewer points than they did at this point a year ago. The Viola have already made a managerial change last month, appointing Paolo Vanoli to replace the sacked coach Stefano Pioli.
Additionally, Hellas Verona defeated Atalanta 3-1, earning their first win of the season.
