LONDON (AP) – Chelsea forward Cole Palmer will miss the next three games after suffering a broken toe in an accident at home this week, manager Enzo Maresca announced Friday.
After Saturday’s match at Burnley, the Blues host Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday, followed by Premier League leaders Arsenal visiting Stamford Bridge on November 30.
“Unfortunately, he had an accident at home,” Maresca said. “He hit his toe, which wasn’t important, but he’s certainly not going to be back next week.”

“The last time I saw him was yesterday morning, he wasn’t wearing socks or flip-flops,” Maresca said. “He had a limp, but not too much, and was walking just fine. The problem is that he has small toes, so the contact with the boot could probably be a little painful.”
