FRISCO, Texas (AP) — Women’s World Cup champions and Olympic gold medalists Tobin Heath and Heather O’Reilly were inducted into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame Thursday along with men’s players Tony Sane and Chris Wondolowski.

Referee Kari Seitz was also selected along with Kevin Crowe, who is primarily known for indoor soccer.

They will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on May 1st at the Hall in Frisco, Texas.

O’Reilly, 40, played in 231 international games as a forward and winger, scoring 47 goals and helping the United States win the championship. 2015 world cup She won league titles in women’s professional soccer with the Sky Blues in 2009, in the National Women’s Soccer League with Kansas City in 2015 and North Carolina in 2019.

Heath, 37, played in 181 games as a midfielder and forward, scoring 36 goals and winning the World Cup title with the United States in 2015. 2019 Olympic gold medals in 2008 and 2012.

Wondolowski, 42, is Major League Soccer’s career scoring leader with 171 regular-season goals and two in the playoffs, playing for San Jose (2005, 2009-21) and Houston (2006-09). He played in two games at the 2014 World Cup and scored 11 goals in 35 international matches.

Sane, 54, is a defender who scored three goals in 43 international games and started all five games at the 2002 World Cup as the United States reached the quarter-finals in its furthest advance since 1930. He played for DC (1996-98), Columbus (2004), Chicago (2005-06), Colorado (2007) and LA Galaxy (2009). He played for Hertha Berlin (1991-2001) and Nuremberg (2001-2004), winning MLS titles in 1996 and 1997.

O’Reilly, Heath and Wondolowski were selected through player voting. The top two candidates will be selected if they each receive at least 50%, and the third person will be selected if they each receive at least 75%.

Mr. O’Reilly received 47 of 48 votes, or 97.9%, followed by Heath (45 votes, 93.8%), Wondolowski (37 votes, 77.1%), Keith Johnson (33 votes, 68.8%), Samantha Muse (32 votes, 66.7%), Dwayne DeRosario (29 votes, 60.4%), and Amy Rodriguez. (28, 58.3%), Kyle Beckerman (27, 56.3%), Robbie Keane (20, 41.7%), Oguchi Onyewu (19, 39.6%), Jermaine Jones (17, 35.4%), Maurice Edu (16, 33.3%), Diego Valeri (13, Michael Archer (12, 25%), Stephanie Lopez-Cox (12, 25%), Chad Marshall (11, 22.9%), Mike Lawson (10, 20.8%), Carlos Ruiz (7, 14.6%), Matt Besler (6, 12.5%), Jeff Cameron (5, 10.4%).

Mr. Sanneh and Mr. Crowe were chosen from a vote of veterans. In this voting, the top vote-getter will be selected if they receive at least 50% of the votes, and the second place will be selected if they receive at least 75%. Sane received 21 out of 24 votes (87.55%), followed by Crowe (19 votes, 79.2%), Tatu (17 votes, 70.8%), Tiffany Roberts (16 votes, 66.7%), David Beckham (11 votes, 45.8%), Clint Mathis (10 votes, 41.7%), Laurie Fair (6 votes, 25%), Chico Borja (5, 20.8%), Arie Wagner (5, 20.8%), Francis Faberoff (1, 4.2%).

Seitz, 55, officiated nine games at the 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2011 Women’s World Cups and six games at the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Olympics. She became vice president of officiating for the U.S. Soccer Federation in 2024.

Seitz was participating in the construction contractor vote this year, which included only judges. The top voters are elected if they receive at least 50%.

For the builder vote, only candidates in the Umpire category were considered for the 2026 rotation. The election procedure requires that the builder who receives the most votes (receives at least 50% of the votes) be elected. Seitz received 19 of 24 votes (79.2%), followed by Gino Dippolito (10 votes, 41.7%), Brian Hall (6 votes, 25%), and Mark Geiger (4 votes, 16.7%).
