Former Manchester United youngster Angel Gomes has completed a move to Lille but will spend next season on loan with Portuguese club Boavista.
Gomes has signed a contract until 2025 with the Ligue 1 outfit.
The 19-year-old came through the academy at Old Trafford and became the youngest player since Duncan Edwards to feature for the first team in May 2017, aged just 16.
The attacking midfielder left Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad when his contract expired earlier this summer, having been at Manchester United since the age of six.
Gomes’ appearances for United were limited, making just 10 since his debut three years ago.

A number of clubs – including Chelsea – had been linked with the England Under-20 international, but the midfielder has decided on a move abroad.
Asked if Chelsea have made a bid for Gomes, Lampard said recently: “Yes, I can elaborate to the point that it’s never been mentioned at my end; so that’s it.”
‘Angel’s a top kid’
And, when pressed on any interest, Lampard added: “No.”
Gomes made just eight appearances for Solskjaer since he replaced Jose Mourinho as manager in December 2018 and did not make a Premier League start.
United though offered him a new deal, but Gomes decided to try his luck elsewhere.
Speaking back in June, Solskjaer said: “You can ask Angel why he’s not signed.
“I don’t know what the talks are behind the scenes. Angel’s a top kid.
“Of course, there are people around him that advise him to do different things. If he doesn’t sign, all the best to Angel and I’m going to follow his career. If he signs for us, let’s kick on.”
