The latest international break has just finished and we are now looking ahead to domestic football returning this weekend.
Whilst many of us find it bland, scouts from certain clubs will take the opportunity to watch a varied mix of games and players during the international games, and this is exactly what Chelsea scouts have done this week.
This is nothing new of course, and Chelsea will have scouts watching many different clubs in many different countries around the world on a weekly basis anyway.
But in these circumstances, there was one game in particular that they were watching this week in order to watch one player in particular.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, as cited by Chels HQ, Chelsea, among other clubs, had scouts in attendance at the Euro 2024 qualifying match between Spain and Georgia to watch Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Blues have been linked with him a lot recently, so there is likely to be some weight to these stories.
